Dutch dj/producer Near Earth Object got infected with the electronic music virus at a young age, starting out as a resident DJ at the infamous Dutch "Basic Grooves" collective, learning the ropes from some of the big names in the business. Soon after that more clubs, radio stations and festivals helped form the typical Near Earth Object style, combining techno, acid, electro and broken beats. The next step to making music was just a matter of time. As a DJ, producer and remixer Near Earth Object is never confined by boundaries of a single style of electronic music. He lives in Utrecht which is one of the most central cities in the Netherlands and an important place for ground-breaking music, art and festivals.
